STOPOVER IN AFRICA
I've always loved the mix of styles. It gives you the feeling of travelling around the world through your clothes. Wearing fabrics from elsewhere brings a personalized touch to the most classic of outfits, and today. Today I decided to make a stopover in Africa to tell you about African fabric.
Originally from Indonesia, Batik will be renamed Wax because of its manufacturing technique. Bright colours, multicoloured floral prints, geometric patterns... some of the motifs referred to signifiactions (politics, marriage...).
In the early 2000s, a renewed interest in this traditional fabric is making a comeback, largely thanks to celebrities.
There is a very wide choice of patterns that will please most people. Scarf, jacket, shirt... Give your clothes an ethnic touch!
